Stanley Kubrick (1950, self-portrait, via vanityfair.com)
“I’ve got a peculiar weakness for criminals and artists-neither takes life as it is. Any tragic story has to be in conflict with things as they are.”
This is such an amazing quote. Also very true. Both artists and criminals do not except the world they live in. Artists find new ways of looking at life, while criminals go against the grain completely.
